Job Summary

W e are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Technician to support manufacturing operations by performing technical duties related to mechanical assemblies, equipment, testing, troubleshooting, and production processes. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on mechanical skills, experience using hand and power tools, and the ability to read blueprints and technical documentation.

 

Job Description

  • Perform technical duties and support projects within the assigned functional work group.
  • Perform testing, measurements, operations, and process controls in accordance with established procedures.
  • Use and interpret job packets, routings, work orders, wire lists, quality travelers, and bills of material.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
  • Identify mechanical and electrical components and properly use related documentation.
  • Perform wire preparation, stripping, crimping, harness repair, and termination as required.
  • Operate and maintain production tools, machinery, and equipment.
  • Use appropriate manual and power hand tools to complete manufacturing and repair activities.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose product, process, equipment, or program defects and perform necessary repairs.
  • Support mechanical assemblies, automated machine operation, and related manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain working knowledge of electronics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
  • Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
  • Apply Manufacturing System principles and tools to support continuous improvement.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Perform other technical and manufacturing duties as assigned.

 

Skills Required

  • 3+ years of relevant manufacturing, mechanical, or technician experience.
  • High school diploma, technical school education, or equivalent technical training.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Proficiency with hand and power tools.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Ability to identify components and follow detailed work instructions.
  • Experience with testing and measurement equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.

Preferred Certifications

  • Forklift certification
  • Overhead crane certification
  • NDI certification

 

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent

 

Additional requirements

  • Shi ft: Monday - Friday; 6:20 am - 2:30 pm, occasional weekends

 

Pay Rate

  • $22 - $24 per hour (Compensation will be offered within this posted range based on experience, skills, and market factors)
